Cables
Inspect all exterior cables for kinks and
strained, cut, frayed, or otherwise damaged
insulation .
NOTE
Report any abnormal conditions to
direct support maintenance personnel.
Cleanliness
Make sure exterior surfaces of unit are clean.

If necessary, clean exterior surfaces as
follows:
a.
Remove dust and loose dirt with a clean,
soft cloth.
b.
Remove dust or dirt from plugs and jacks
with a brush.
WARNING
Adequate ventilation should be pro-
vided while using trichlorotrifluoro-
ethane.
Prolonged breathing of
vapor should be avoided.  The solv-
ent should not be used near heat
or open flame; the products of decom-
position are toxic and irritating.
Since trichlorotrifluoroethane dis-
solves natural oils, prolonged con-
tact with skin should be avoided.
When necessary, use gloves which the
solvent cannot penetrate.  If the
solvent is taken internally, consult
a physician immediately.
Remove grease, fungus, and ground-in
c.
dirt using a cloth dampened (not wet)
with trichlorotrifluoroethane.
